After almost 20 years as a professional window cleaner here in Santa Cruz County, I have learned directly from my customers the 4 main reasons why they have their windows professionally cleaned. This list is by no means an exhaustive list, however, it does include what I consider to be historically the most consistent reasons. The first reason why people require professional window cleaning is for the sake of hosting company or showing hospitality. People love to share their homes with visiting friends and family members which often initiates a host of cleaning projects. Out of all these cleaning projects, professional window cleaning is usually at the top of the list. The second reason why home owners seek a professional window cleaner is when it’s time to put their home on the market. Selling a home requires both large and small maintenance projects. Many of these projects are known for kicking up dust and for that reason professional window cleaning should always be done last as the crown jewel. The third reason people have their windows cleaned is to celebrate parties. Birthday parties, graduation parties, engagement parties, and of course Thanksgiving and Christmas. These events are often such a special time for people that even the rain won’t stop them from getting their windows washed. The fourth and final reason people have their windows cleaned is simply to maintain their home and to enjoy the incredible ocean and mountain views so prevalent here in Santa Cruz County. One thing for sure, nothing makes a home look lighter and brighter than professionally cleaned windows.
